I had a really enjoyable day today. I was privileged to work with my team directly and explore Web Workers and how it interacts with TypeScript and webpack.
It was just an hour long internal training session touching on the fundamentals and some of the gotchyas I encountered when making use of them implementing Costing in GamePlan.
There was many aspects I really enjoyed, but one of the parts I liked the most was the back-and-forth of a small group, combined with a very specific topic. It provided an open enough forum to ask questions, discuss them an explore them as far as they needed to go.
I'll do a future post around the technical sides of things once it's a little more polished.
